Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting product features and internal and external integrations.
- Build and optimize data models and queries for performance, reliability, and data integrity.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including deployments, automation, monitoring, and incident response.
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners to scope work, ship iteratively, conduct code reviews, and uphold software quality.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience delivering production services with ownership of reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Proficiency building services with Node and TypeScript, including modern API design and service-to-service communication.
- Proficiency building services and automation with Python.
- Production experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure and automation with Terraform.
- Familiarity running and maintaining workloads on Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with GCP and .NET Core.
