Base Salary
$155k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical demos and build proof-of-concept environments with defined success criteria.
- Support technical discovery with Account Executives by gathering requirements, mapping stakeholders, and addressing technical objections.
- Deploy and troubleshoot containerized AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes-based stacks while optimizing performance and cost.
- Help customers adapt workloads from AWS, GCP, or Azure to Crusoe infrastructure and explain technical tradeoffs.
- Document field-reported product gaps and bugs for Engineering and relay structured customer feedback to Product.
- Prepare transition documentation and instance summaries for clean post-sale handoffs to customer success teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building, deploying, or operating cloud infrastructure, with exposure to AI/ML, HPC, or GPU workloads.
- Hands-on proficiency deploying and managing infrastructure on at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience deploying containerized workloads with Kubernetes or Docker.
- Strong Linux command-line skills and scripting ability in Python or Bash.
- Understanding of VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS, and routing.
- Clear technical communication skills, including presenting demonstrations and writing customer-facing documentation.
- Customer-facing judgment, curiosity about business problems, composure under questions, and strong follow-through.
- Preferred experience includes distributed training or inference with PyTorch, Ray, or Kubeflow; infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation; GPU clusters, InfiniBand, RoCE, or Slurm; and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Public technical content such as talks, blog posts, or how-to guides is a bonus.
