Base Salary
$152k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Customer Engineers, including team culture, talent strategy, and skills development.
- Provide customer partnership and thought leadership on cloud, cross-pillar solutions, and expansion opportunities.
- Partner with Sales on technical go-to-market strategies, delivery plans, workload acquisition, and cloud consumption.
- Lead workload and opportunity reviews and guide technical agreements and migration strategies.
- Coordinate across Google, partners, customers, and the team to resolve technical roadblocks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Leadership experience such as people management, team leadership, mentorship, coaching, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience conducting technical conversations, demonstrations, prototyping, or customer workshops.
- Preferred experience with software lifecycles, tool building, and scalable distributed systems.
- Preferred experience as a pre-sales manager or technical customer-facing people manager in professional services or sales engineering.
- Preferred experience managing pre-sales processes, career development, account mapping, quota setting, performance management, and sensitive information.
- Preferred experience presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Preferred experience managing delivery and consumption plans for complex, cross-pillar cloud solutions.
