Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate CI/CD systems and software delivery pipelines.
- Lead the design and architecture of internal platform capabilities.
- Make hands-on technical decisions about platform design and system tradeoffs.
- Improve developer productivity by shortening feedback loops.
- Build self-serve workflows that reduce manual effort.
- Use AI-native tooling to enhance engineering workflows.
- Build secure-by-default platform capabilities.
- Partner with various teams to understand pain points and implement improvements.
- Define and track metrics for platform health and engineering effectiveness.
- Guide engineering teams on observability, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for team-owned systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in developer productivity, CI/CD, or internal platform systems.
- Experience designing and operating robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong track record of building platform features that increase engineering velocity.
- Experience making architectural decisions for internal platforms.
- Knowledge of secure software delivery practices.
- Empathy for tools and workflows that create engineering challenges.
- Comfortable in fast-changing environments.
- Strong communication skills across diverse teams.
