Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs using FastAPI and Pydantic v2.
- Implement and optimize agentic AI systems using LangGraph, Deep Agents, AutoGen, and LangChain.
- Architect real-time, event-driven microservices using messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Design clean, testable, and maintainable Python services using async programming, type hints, OOP, and SOLID principles.
- Integrate and optimize Postgres, MongoDB, ChromaDB, Pinecone, and other SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
- Run LangGraph and Deep Agents workflows in production with checkpointing, persistence, human-in-the-loop controls, observability, and evaluation tooling.
- Apply LLM safety guardrails for prompt injection, PII handling, and content moderation in regulated industries.
- Design data models and analytical solutions, optimize data analysis processes, and support data science projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address data science needs and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is also listed as a qualification.
- At least 3 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience with Python, FastAPI, and related technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience working with GenAI and LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and LLaMA.
- Experience shipping production ML/AI products and diagnosing and resolving production failures.
- Proficiency in Python 3.11+, including async/await, type hints, modern Python patterns, and strict type checking.
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and AutoGen or similar tools.
- Experience building production REST/WebSocket APIs and microservices.
- Experience with message streaming platforms such as Kafka or Pulsar.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases, plus working knowledge of RAG pipelines, embeddings, chunking, and retrieval.
- Experience with LLM observability and evaluation tools such as LangSmith or Langfuse.
- Strong software engineering discipline covering testing, code review, documentation, scalability, and maintainability.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
