Responsibilities
- Review requirements and identify risks, questions, and missing test scenarios with business stakeholders.
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for trading, clearing, settlement, reporting, and client-facing workflows.
- Prepare test data and validate business rules, calculations, files, permissions, integrations, and system behavior.
- Test exchange, clearinghouse, market-data, and internal-platform integrations using REST, messaging, and file-based protocols.
- Validate data pipelines, reconciliation processes, regulatory reporting, and data integrity and completeness.
- Report, track, retest, and provide evidence for defects while supporting root-cause analysis and regression-gap identification.
- Maintain test cases, execution results, traceability, and QA documentation.
- Collaborate on test coverage improvements, automation opportunities, automated suites, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Coordinate with distributed teams across the US, UK, and Asia while working across time zones and in English.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Experience testing web applications and creating clear, structured test cases.
- Experience managing defects from identification through final validation.
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include financial or capital-markets application experience, trading and post-trade domain knowledge, FIX familiarity, LATAM regulatory knowledge, TestRail experience, and exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, API testing, SQL, CI/CD, Git, cloud, Docker, or financial reporting reconciliation.
