Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions.
- Lead teams through software design, development, delivery, and the full systems development lifecycle.
- Migrate critical systems to Azure Cloud.
- Analyze business requirements and design, implement, test, and integrate software components.
- Resolve high-priority defects and deploy fixes to production systems.
- Ensure code is secure, stable, scalable, performant, and operational before production deployment.
- Collaborate with global IT teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 10 years of experience with Spring Boot is stated as an additional requirement.
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, core Java, and investment banking.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or Sybase.
- Experience with Java multithreading, modern development tools, and web services.
- Hands-on experience designing and building solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices development, distributed event streaming platforms such as Kafka, and end-to-end web application development.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, HTML5, global transaction management, and Unix.
- Strong clean-coding, refactoring, problem-solving, and software quality skills.
- Knowledge of agile development practices and Scrum.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
