Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality and quality standards.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and other testing tools.
- Perform manual, functional, performance, security, and API testing activities.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed defect information to support resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and software quality.
- Manage work in line with applicable risk, control, policy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge of manual and functional testing concepts and Agile principles and practices.
- Medium to advanced Java programming skills and medium-level Python skills.
- Medium-level experience with Selenium and Playwright.
- Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools.
- Basic Unix commands and navigation skills.
- Experience with GitLab, Git commands, and Maven basics.
- Fundamental SQL and database skills.
- Experience using JIRA and basic reporting techniques.
- Understanding of non-functional testing, including performance and security testing.
- Preferred skills include advanced Playwright programming, stronger Java or Python proficiency, AI and ML awareness, and experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Ability to analyze information, resolve problems, communicate complex information, and collaborate with stakeholders.
