Responsibilities
- Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
- Advise customers on architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and the business value of MongoDB solutions.
- Partner with sales teams on technical discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, documentation, account planning, and pipeline generation.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, industry events, and account-based marketing activities.
- Build customer relationships, develop champions, and drive customer success and satisfaction.
- Provide field feedback to the product team and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
- Maintain ongoing product and industry knowledge through training and professional development.
Requirements
- Ideally 8–11 years of related customer-facing experience, including a minimum of 3 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C, C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience reviewing complex application architectures and advising customers on technology improvements.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and technical/business concept communication skills.
- Ability to strategize with sales teams and coordinate technical and ecosystem resources for account plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience with databases, major cloud providers, database programming, data models, data engineering, AI/ML projects, legacy modernization, MongoDB, or cloud provider certifications.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
