Base Salary
$168k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure for structured knowledge storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with content design, product, and engineering teams to translate knowledge architecture into technical systems.
- Configure a headless CMS platform to implement the organization's knowledge operating model.
- Develop APIs and services to expose structured knowledge to internal tools and AI assistants.
- Build and maintain integrations between knowledge storage systems and AI tooling.
- Prototype using lightweight tooling for content management.
- Identify opportunities to improve product development workflows with structured knowledge.
- Evaluate and recommend technology approaches for knowledge storage and delivery.
- Establish scalable patterns for content versioning and governance workflows.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure systems support internal enablement needs.
- Iterate on architecture as knowledge systems mature.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer building production systems.
- Strong experience designing APIs and backend services.
- Experience with structured content systems or knowledge management infrastructure.
- Experience leading technical implementation and coordinating work across engineers.
- Experience designing or integrating systems for information retrieval or search.
- Familiarity with modern AI tooling and integrating LLM-based workflows.
- Experience designing systems that model relationships between entities or policies.
- Strong collaboration skills with non-engineering partners.
- Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces.
