Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with founders and go-to-market leaders to define the roadmap and deliver user value
- Lead the design and development of full-stack features for the mobile and web applications
- Balance delivery speed, scope, maintainability, and long-term scalability
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to other engineers
- Collaborate with go-to-market leaders and designers to implement intuitive, reliable user experiences
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in startups or scaleups
- Proven experience shipping impactful features across the software stack
- Strong technical judgment regarding optimization, scope, and refactoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Based in Chicago or willing to relocate there
- Experience building React Native mobile apps is preferred
- Marketplace, fintech, or consumer-facing product experience is a bonus
