Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of a highly scalable CI/CD platform.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
- Lead team adoption and validation standards for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide software development frameworks, tools, and practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 8+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience leading the effective and secure use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Platform engineering experience is preferred.
