Responsibilities
- Write and ship production-grade code for voice AI systems powering enterprise workflows.
- Own strategic customer deployments end to end, including discovery, architecture, implementation, and rollout.
- Advance projects through ambiguous requirements, evolving constraints, and unexpected system failures.
- Deploy solutions across cloud, VPC, and on-premises environments while addressing security, networking, and compliance requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and deployment issues.
- Identify new use cases and prototype solutions that increase customer adoption and long-term value.
- Share recurring customer patterns with engineering and product teams to influence roadmaps and reusable capabilities.
- Turn one-off solutions into scalable playbooks, templates, and reference architectures.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and a track record of delivering reliable systems.
- Experience integrating APIs and distributed services into real-world infrastructure.
- Comfort operating across cloud and containerized environments using AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
- Experience navigating enterprise authentication, networking, observability, and security-review requirements.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution.
- Clear, structured communication skills for engaging with senior technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in forward-deployed, solutions, implementation, or customer-facing engineering roles.
- Preferred experience deploying AI/ML systems into production environments.
- Preferred familiarity with real-time systems, including voice, streaming APIs, telephony, and low-latency systems.
- Preferred experience with on-premises or hybrid infrastructure deployments.
- Multilingual fluency or experience supporting international customers and non-English language deployments is preferred.
- Startup or founder experience is preferred.
