
Senior Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities
- Advance computer modeling and process improvements for wind turbine engineering digital tools.
- Collaborate with product/software owners and engineering and commercial stakeholders to refine the engineering tools roadmap and execution.
- Develop and integrate digital technologies for internal applications and operational efficiency.
- Own the full software lifecycle, including coding, documentation, training, quality testing, deployments, and production-like troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain full-stack web applications, backend services, data flows, workflow-style UIs, and artifact/cache-based architectures.
- Debug frontend, API adapter, backend, database, and cache layers while addressing data consistency issues.
- Coach and mentor team members in the relevant area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification from an accredited college or university.
- Strong programming experience or equivalent experience.
- Proven cloud computing and AWS experience.
- Familiarity with Agile or other software management techniques.
- Strong full-stack experience with React and modern JavaScript, including Vite-based frontends and data-heavy UI flows.
- Solid Python experience for backend services and AWS Lambda development.
- Good SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including reading schemas and tracing data through views and functions.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, especially with Jest and pytest.
- Experience with enterprise codebases, workflow or server-driven UIs, PowerShell, Windows development environments, QA/production deployment practices, and engineering tools used by analysts or operations teams.
