Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Samsara products, including IoT, AI, and computer vision solutions for physical operations.
- Conduct customer discovery, answer technical questions, and provide standard demos and account coverage for the sales team.
- Explain device installation and deployment scenarios to prospects and customers.
- Educate customers about APIs and deploy scripts using the Samsara API to a testing environment on demand.
- Advocate for account executives, prospects, and customers in internal technical discussions.
- Translate technical feedback between product and sales teams and enroll appropriate customers in beta programs.
- Champion Samsara’s values and operating principles while supporting global growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Preferred 1+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in one of cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems.
- Experience tinkering with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.
