Responsibilities
- Own the stability, performance, scalability, and long-term roadmap of the MyCRM cloud ecosystem.
- Design and implement highly available, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud-native architectures.
- Define cross-departmental technical standards, evaluate technologies, and align infrastructure choices with business strategy.
- Build reusable Terraform infrastructure-as-code libraries and lead migration from legacy patterns to automated, self-healing architectures.
- Drive DevOps culture, developer experience improvements, technical debt reduction, rapid prototyping, and R&D initiatives.
- Lead complex production incident escalations and blameless post-mortems, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Extensive experience architecting and managing enterprise-grade public cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Extensive Kubernetes and EKS experience, including orchestration, scaling, cluster hardening, networking, and resource optimization.
- Extensive Terraform experience building modular, reusable infrastructure-as-code libraries.
- Deep knowledge of Postgres and MSSQL, including performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Applied understanding of least-privilege security, IAM roles, encryption, security groups, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives autonomously from discovery through delivery and communicate technical requirements as business value.
- Experience with SLOs, SLIs, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar observability technologies is desirable.
- Experience integrating SAST/DAST and policy-as-code into deployment pipelines is desirable.
- Experience with FinOps, cloud-spend reduction, right-sizing, and architectural optimization is desirable.
- Fintech or regulated-industry experience, particularly with mortgage or insurance data privacy, is desirable.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent scripting for internal developer tooling is desirable.
