Responsibilities
- Own the overall Consumer Goods Cloud solution architecture, technical vision, design decisions, and solution blueprint.
- Define and govern the appropriate out-of-the-box, configuration, and customization strategy for Consumer Goods Cloud implementations.
- Design scalable data models, extensions, application architectures, integration architectures, API strategies, and security architectures.
- Translate business and functional requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, and upgradeable Salesforce solutions.
- Design and manage integrations between Salesforce, Consumer Goods Cloud, and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, platform events, and other integration patterns.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Review solution designs, technical specifications, and development deliverables for architectural alignment and quality.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, data, and performance issues.
- Support technical discussions with stakeholders and recommend architecture and implementation approaches.
- Maintain technical documentation for solution architecture, data models, integrations, and key design decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total professional experience.
- Strong experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and development, including Consumer Goods Cloud and its data model.
- Experience defining out-of-the-box, configuration, and customization approaches in Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and security architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, data modeling, and extension strategies.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce development best practices.
- Experience designing scalable, performant, maintainable, and upgradeable Salesforce solutions.
- Experience reviewing technical designs and providing technical guidance to development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
