Responsibilities
- Design and evolve complex solution architectures for data, analytics, event processing, and artificial intelligence in a regulated banking environment.
- Translate business needs into robust, scalable, sustainable architectures aligned with corporate, technical, regulatory, and security standards.
- Define and govern REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and batch and streaming processing pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, product, infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture teams on technical decisions, design patterns, and platform evolution.
- Support the integration of AI and advanced analytics solutions into enterprise architectures.
- Contribute to data governance, observability, model risk, and compliance practices.
Requirements
- Solid experience designing data-oriented, analytical, batch, and streaming solution architectures.
- Experience as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, or senior developer who progressed into architecture.
- Experience designing complex enterprise applications, preferably in banking or another regulated environment.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and frameworks such as TOGAF and BIAN.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and repository management using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Experience with event integration and processing using Kafka, AMQ, and/or MSK.
- Knowledge of data governance, including lineage, cataloging, classification, GDPR, and LOPD compliance.
- Experience with observability, including logs, metrics, and tracing, using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised models, MLOps, GenAI, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, explainable AI, and model risk.
- Preferred qualifications include ArchiMate, Data Mesh, advanced Lakehouse, NoSQL databases, Airflow, Denodo, Iceberg, advanced NLP, multimodal models, Document Intelligence, LoRA, adapters, feature stores, hybrid or edge AI deployments, Bizzdesign, and Project Management or Service Management knowledge.
