Responsibilities
- Validate Security Center Video Management for functionality, usability, stability, and reliability across platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Plan, design, and execute manual functional, integration, regression, compatibility, usability, and exploratory tests.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end, integration, UI, and API test suites.
- Develop automation tools and frameworks for test-environment provisioning, orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track defects, collaborating with development teams on root-cause analysis and fix validation.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, analysts, and product teams to improve product quality, usability, and testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 1 year of professional QA experience.
- Strong understanding of video systems, streaming, H.264, H.265, resolution, and frame rate.
- Knowledge of networking basics including latency, bandwidth, packet loss, RTSP, and HTTP.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Windows environments.
- Knowledge of test methodologies, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
- Experience with test automation and programming is an asset.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of networking principles, IP protocols, software security, secure testing practices, and Linux troubleshooting or basic scripting is an asset.
