Base Salary

$111k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance Enterprise Portal web applications, including single sign-on functionality and integrations with supporting services.
  • Develop responsive front-end and back-end features throughout the full application lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot UI issues, optimize application performance, fix defects, and modernize legacy applications.
  • Apply UX best practices to identify and resolve user pain points and improve usability.
  • Collaborate with portal, systems administration, and IM/IT/IA teams to meet security, usability, and performance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with STIG and DoD IM/IT security procedures and report security concerns appropriately.
  • Build reusable code, templates, modules, artifacts, and libraries for scalable development.
  • Document web services and contribute to system design, process flows, architecture documentation, training, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent plus four years of related experience.
  • At least five years of experience on a software development team, including at least two years of full-stack web application experience.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, jQuery, React, PostgreSQL or relational databases, Apache Tomcat, HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS, Node.js, AWS, Maven, Gradle, and NPM.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, responsive web application development, UX improvement, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Experience with unit and end-to-end testing, XML, CSV, and XLS output, and application development using MVVM/MVC and microservices.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a T3 Public Trust clearance.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Experience with Atom, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, or NetBeans is preferred.
