Base Salary
$196k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the next generation client platform for Airbnb corporate endpoints using open source products.
- Develop and maintain Zero Trust backend services supporting security services, network paths, and user and device signaling.
- Build robust, scalable, and secure systems for Airbnb’s identity and endpoint security infrastructure.
- Support executive-level staff with endpoint and identity solutions.
- Optimize endpoint and identity flows with product and engineering teams.
- Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s or PhD degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in test-driven software development.
- Extensive experience with Go, Python, or Java, with Go strongly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code deployments.
- Experience developing and deploying services in Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, Apple MDM specifications, and modern MDM deployments.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth 2.0, OpenID, SAML, ABAC, and related Zero Trust security protocols.

- Base pay range is $196,000–$227,000 USD.
