Responsibilities

  • Drive customer satisfaction and act as a trusted security advisor while sharing customer insights with Microsoft engineering, product, and global security teams.
  • Develop and deliver end-to-end Microsoft Security value propositions focused on Zero Trust, Threat Protection, Identity and Access Management, and Cloud Security.
  • Position and implement Microsoft security solutions, resolve customer blockers, and accelerate security adoption and business value.
  • Improve customer security posture and ensure solutions meet secure-by-design expectations for performance, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability.
  • Run Architectural Design Sessions and govern solution designs in alignment with customer business goals and technical environments.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects, FastTrack, partners, and Microsoft Consulting to develop complex enterprise solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of customer-facing experience and 6 years leading technical projects are preferred.
  • Preferred technical cloud certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications.
  • Subject-matter expertise in Sentinel, Defender workloads, data security strategies, Identity and Access Management, and Zero Trust strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud security solution architecture, design, implementation, and support.
  • Ability to understand security business requirements and solve customer problems through Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Active Canadian Government Secret Clearance or ability to obtain Secret Clearance with the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate.
  • Ability to build technical relationships with senior IT executives, manage stakeholders, present to varied audiences, and understand competitive security platforms.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and Canadian Government Reliability Status screening requirements.
