Responsibilities

  • Build deep customer relationships and advise on critical workloads, digital transformation, and cloud adoption.
  • Support application, software, and service adoption and migration to AWS in partnership with sales.
  • Educate customers on AWS and participate in detailed architectural discussions for successful cloud deployments.
  • Contribute to AWS internal and customer-facing white papers and blogs.
  • Coordinate between customers, AWS service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives and clients.
  • Preferred: cloud technology certification, such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering.
  • Preferred: experience architecting or deploying cloud or virtualization solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Preferred: knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
  • Preferred: knowledge of large-scale automation and workflow management or equivalent.
