Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for Azure and GCP infrastructure.
- Build and operate secure cloud environments using services such as AKS, GKE, App Gateway, VNets, NSGs, Key Vault, and Managed Identities.
- Develop Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines and implement blue/green, canary, and rollback deployment strategies.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, code analysis, compliance checks, secrets management, and supply chain security into delivery workflows.
- Contribute to portal application code using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontends, REST API endpoints, and backend handlers.
- Implement monitoring and reliability practices with Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and Log Analytics.
- Define and tune SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets and participate in troubleshooting and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on planning, releases, agile ceremonies, and end-to-end delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering with full-stack application exposure.
- Expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud architecture and automation, with Azure preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, reusable module design, and Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with container security, image scanning, supply chain security, and security or compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell and comfort building or maintaining portal-style web applications.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, network, and application layers and collaborating across teams.
- Daily use of AI coding assistants with the ability to review AI-generated output for correctness and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure, GCP, CKA/CKAD, or Terraform certifications; Ansible and ArgoCD experience; and experience in FedRAMP, BFSI, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
