Responsibilities
- Drive well-scoped design and implementation work for cloud-native infrastructure supporting Azure Observability services across multiple environments.
- Own production-quality features end to end, including design, coding, validation, deployment, monitoring, and live-site support.
- Partner with infrastructure, observability, and platform teams to align dependencies, clarify ownership, and deliver supportable solutions.
- Participate in on-call and incident response and use live-site learnings to improve automation, telemetry, troubleshooting guides, and prevention mechanisms.
- Build systems for collecting, processing, storing, and analyzing monitoring and diagnostic data, including customer-facing log consumption experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience involving coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security screening requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, Knockout, C#, or similar programming languages is preferred.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG-based solutions, and cloud-scale data platforms is preferred.
- Ability to apply AI-driven innovations to developer productivity, operational efficiency, and customer experiences is preferred.
- Experience partnering across teams to deliver infrastructure capabilities with clear ownership and supportability is preferred.
Benefits
- The role includes a U.S. base pay range of $102,100-$202,200 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and additional compensation.
