Senior Consultant -Playwright Automation - Chennai- Quality engineering
Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and test cases using Playwright.
- Develop UI and API automation using Java, TypeScript, Rest Assured, and Karate.
- Automate functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Create detailed test plans based on requirements.
- Test web UI, APIs, web services, mobile applications, and Salesforce applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage test data and generate comprehensive test reports.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and collaborate with development and QA teams.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in automation testing.
- Expertise in Playwright UI and API automation.
- Experience with Playwright and Cucumber.
- Programming experience with Java and JavaScript or similar languages.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Postgres and Snowflake.
- Experience using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for test automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
