SS&C TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Manage and support Chorus Workflow environments across Windows Server and Linux.
- Perform system administration involving logs, services, scheduled tasks, permissions, monitoring, configuration, and deployment readiness.
- Support and troubleshoot Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, release activities, and change or incident processes.
- Develop or maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Troubleshoot IIS, JBoss, Apache, APIs, authentication flows, SFTP, SSH, certificates, networking, and service integrations.
- Use Elastic and Dynatrace to monitor systems and investigate performance or integration issues.
- Test bug fixes, assist with production deployments, and identify root causes across application, infrastructure, configuration, dependency, and data domains.
- Collaborate with developers, QAs, BAs, architects, platform teams, infrastructure teams, and clients.
- Maintain environment diagrams, runbooks, change impact assessments, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Mid-level systems administration experience across Windows Server and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, automated deployment processes, Workflow, and the Chorus application.
- Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripting.
- Competency with C#, Python, MS SQL, and Oracle SQL.
- Understanding of operating system internals, logs, service management, scheduled tasks or cron, permissions, access models, and resource monitoring.
- Knowledge of DNS, routing, firewall rules, load balancers, certificates, IIS, JBoss, Apache, API-based integrations, SFTP, SSH, and secure authentication methods.
- Experience with Elastic, Dynatrace, and Git.
- Knowledge of Chorus or Workflow development, application workflows, Model Analysis, Administration workspace, and Chorus Reporting analytics.
- Preferred familiarity with enterprise release and change management, disaster recovery, production support, dependency mapping, secrets handling, environment variables, and configuration-file management.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, prioritization, documentation, customer-focus, and independent problem-solving skills.
