Java Developer | Microservices, Spring Boot, API Development, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Performance Tuning
SynechronResponsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, and maintain scalable Java applications, backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Design high-performance and secure APIs and optimize database interactions, application performance, and system scalability.
- Troubleshoot technical, system, and performance issues across development, testing, and production environments, including production outages.
- Support deployment pipelines, build automation, CI/CD improvements, system monitoring, incident management, and operational procedures.
- Conduct code reviews, promote coding consistency, share knowledge, and mentor team members and peers.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, API specifications, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Conduct performance tuning, security assessments, and system upgrades.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional Java development experience supporting enterprise applications.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, Git, and Maven.
- Experience or familiarity with microservices architectures, containerization, cloud deployment strategies, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server; MongoDB and Cassandra are preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in Java, cloud platforms, or security are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.
