Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, microservices, and batch-processing applications.
- Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Develop automation solutions using BDD, data-driven, hybrid, and Page Object Model approaches.
- Perform API, UI, microservices, batch, integration, performance, load, and scalability testing.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with product owners, software engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, identify quality risks, troubleshoot defects, and drive resolution.
- Analyze test results, quality metrics, and performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML, with strong software development and automation engineering skills.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing BDD, data-driven, hybrid, and Page Object Model automation frameworks, including Cucumber or JBehave.
- Experience with API, UI, microservices, batch, and integration testing using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, Postman, Insomnia, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Advanced knowledge of Maven, Node.js, Spring Framework, Git, Jenkins DSL, Swagger, Splunk, Apache NiFi, Unix/Linux, and JPA.
- Proficiency in backend testing and data validation using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience conducting performance, load, and scalability testing with JMeter, BlazeMeter, or LoadRunner.
- Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to improve test effectiveness and automation coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and business teams.
- Strong ownership, accountability, commitment to quality, and willingness to improve processes and engineering practices in Agile environments.
