Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on development, contribute to the codebase, and conduct peer reviews.
- Design engineering features supporting the product roadmap and communicate design decisions.
- Break down large work items into well-defined tasks aligned with delivery plans.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and own build and deployment processes.
- Demonstrate development progress to internal and external customers through presentations.
- Provide technical leadership and guide engineers through delivery and engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer with skills in CI/CD, containerisation, deployment technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, Docker, and AWS.
- Experience in Linux system administration or similar operating systems.
- Understanding of database technologies such as SQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, ideally in an agile environment.
- British National status and current highest-level UK Government security clearance are required.
