Senior Backend Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Closinglock web applications with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and deployment.
- Build backend services, RESTful APIs, database integrations, and integrations with third-party APIs.
- Collaborate in small teams, ship changes quickly, and consult on feature requests, customer feedback, and future product development.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong experience developing services with Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Experience with relational database schema design, query optimization, and ORMs or Python database integrations.
- Solid experience building RESTful APIs and integrating custom code with third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, software testing, TDD, and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, Jira, Confluence, AWS, Datadog, and New Relic.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, solve problems creatively and efficiently, and take ownership of work.
