Base Salary
$155k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable Java-based web services, enterprise applications, and Angular user interfaces.
- Lead software delivery from requirements translation and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Guide implementation of new features and improve application performance, scalability, resiliency, security, and maintainability.
- Support production stability through monitoring, observability, level-three incident support, and system maintenance.
- Apply code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, test automation, and maintainable software design practices.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of software development experience focused on Java and related frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience using Angular to build dynamic, responsive web applications.
- Extensive experience with enterprise web applications, Java-based services, REST APIs, microservices, and front-end/back-end integrations.
- Experience leading software delivery within Agile teams from business requirements through production support.
- Experience using AIDLC across ideation, software development practices, testing, and code review.
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Splunk, Cucumber, MongoDB, SQL databases, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Jira, and test-driven development.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems, communicate and collaborate across technical and business teams, mentor developers, and take ownership of delivery.
