Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ultra-low-latency C++11/17 systems for processing equity exchange data.
- Implement high-performance algorithms for market-data processing while minimizing latency and maximizing throughput.
- Process Top of Book, Market by Price, Market by Orders, trade, options, and symbology data.
- Build and maintain real-time market-data order books and ensure accurate data aggregation.
- Integrate and process exchange protocols including ITCH, SBE, and Tag/Value.
- Integrate market data with downstream trading and other execution-services systems.
- Develop basic analytics including VWAP and aggregated-volume calculations.
- Integrate Bloomberg APIs into internal systems for market-data analysis and trading.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders on requirements discovery and project prioritization.
- Contribute across the full software delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, documentation, and support.
- Collaborate with global development, QA, and support teams across regions.
- Contribute to architecture, design decisions, code reviews, and software-delivery best practices.
- Own deliveries and work hands-on across all aspects of software delivery.
Requirements
- 14–18 years of professional experience.
- B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech qualification.
- Strong market-data or trading-systems domain expertise, including equities, options, and symbology processing.
- Extensive C++11/17 experience focused on ultra-low-latency development.
- Experience with exchange connectivity, market-data feed handlers, high-availability systems, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, multicast, multithreading, IPC, shared memory, distributed shared memory, and lockless queues.
- Experience with exchange protocols such as ITCH, SBE, and Tag/Value.
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and Google Test harnesses.
- Python programming experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on performance optimization and latency reduction.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to identifying problems and evolving solutions.
- Familiarity with FPGA configuration and processing for market-data systems.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg API integration for trading systems.
- Ability to work with global teams and own delivery across development, testing, documentation, and support.
