Responsibilities
- Build and own key modules for next-generation video products used by millions of users.
- Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring-based frameworks.
- Deliver rich, interactive web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
- Define robust data interfaces and design high-throughput data pipelines and storage layers.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Deliver secure, scalable, low-latency, industry-grade software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience in full-stack engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with Angular or React.
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, RESTful web services, and object-oriented or functional design principles.
- Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of relevant full-stack software development experience.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra, Apache Solr, Elasticsearch or Lucene, Redis, and Apache Kafka.
- Preferred: expertise in asynchronous and reactive architectures, high-concurrency systems, low-latency data retrieval, web performance profiling, accessibility standards, and modern build toolchains.
- Preferred: background in media, digital asset management, or video streaming platforms.
