Base Salary
$152k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build trusted advisory relationships with New York State accounts and engage architects, engineering vice presidents, CTOs, and CIOs.
- Identify customer priorities and technical objections, and develop design strategies across the Google ecosystem.
- Provide public cloud and enterprise technology expertise to public-sector customers, conferences, and online audiences.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for complete solutions.
- Advise customers on best practices to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness.
- Manage enterprise architecture relationships while collaborating with specialists, product management, and technical teams.
- Lead cross-functional experts and direct sales execution through technical direction and business insight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or in an equivalent customer-facing role.
- Experience with state, local, and higher-education markets in New York State.
- Experience with cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Preferred experience with structured enterprise architecture practices for hybrid cloud and on-premises-to-cloud migrations and roadmaps.
- Preferred experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems.
- Preferred experience working with New York State or government-agency executive leaders.
- Preferred knowledge of enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes and large-scale computing solutions.
- Ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and cloud/IT solutions.
