Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with prospects regarding delivery stacks, carrier relationships, enterprise integrations, and operational pain points.
- Build and deliver tailored demonstrations of Pulse AI and Burq’s full API for prospects across logistics-related verticals.
- Scope and run proof-of-concept integrations, guiding customer engineering teams from webhook setup through live order flow.
- Drive initial production orders on key deals before handing implementations to post-sales and forward deployed teams.
- Architect end-to-end delivery solutions for multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
- Respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due-diligence requests.
- Create detailed integration specifications and handoff documentation.
- Share customer feedback and recurring objections with product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Developer Relations.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, delivery, or an adjacent industry.
- Ability to read and write code and guide engineering teams through REST API integrations using Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Familiarity with TMS, OMS, and WMS platforms and enterprise technology-stack integrations.
- Strong commercial judgment in qualifying deals and navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
- Experience with parcel, last-mile, or multi-carrier environments is highly valued.
- Experience with marketplace, on-demand, or gig-economy platforms is preferred.
- Experience with delivery management platforms, route optimization tools, or carrier aggregators is preferred.
- Familiarity with EDI, carrier APIs, label generation, or tracking event streams is preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise retail, grocery, or pharmacy logistics at scale is preferred.
