Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Help define team system architecture and implement owned software components.
  • Shape technical strategy and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define products.
  • Drive engineering best practices, mentor engineers, and improve engineering and operational excellence.
  • Build and support scalable fee calculation, integrity monitoring, fee data, and seller fee-preview systems.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $143,700.00–$194,400.00 USD annually, with sign-on payments and restricted stock units also included in the Amazon package.
