Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade machine learning systems for content safety.
- Own and lead technical initiatives in detection, classification, and policy evaluation.
- Develop and maintain ML models for content moderation, including multimodal and LLM-based systems.
- Build robust evaluation frameworks with standardized datasets and continuous improvement loops.
- Drive experimentation to enhance model performance, reliability, and fairness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on policy and enforcement needs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers within the team.
Requirements
- Solid experience in building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments.
- Proficient in training, evaluating, and maintaining ML models using frameworks like PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of machine learning evaluation, dataset design, and metrics.
- Ability to design systems balancing performance, reliability, and real-world impact.
- Commitment to building safe and user-centric ML systems.
- Experience leading technical projects and influencing team direction.
- Familiarity with distributed systems or backend technologies such as Scala.
