Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology, vision, roadmap, and functionality to executives and technical contributors.
- Demonstrate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Create technical champions, drive technical wins, and support account and territory strategies.
- Develop customer-specific solutions for data challenges and communicate them to business and technical audiences.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
Requirements
- Experience in solution engineering or solution architecture in a SaaS environment or a relevant analytics, data science, or data engineering industry.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes financial services, Python, modern data technologies, and AI, data science, or machine learning technologies.
