Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and review system architecture.
- Develop software features using Java, Python, and AWS services.
- Build interactive leadership dashboards and data analytics pipelines for vulnerability metrics.
- Develop AI agents, MCP services, and integrations that automate reporting and enable other teams to use the platform.
- Set and maintain a high bar for operational excellence, resilience, testing, and system reliability.
- Plan software projects and collaborate with security engineers, data engineers, program managers, and internal Amazon stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, preferred.
- Experience with a modern language such as Java, C++, or C# and object-oriented design, preferred.
