Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s platform
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, POC/POV initiatives, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams on customer acquisition and expansion strategies
- Guide technical practitioners and business leaders through GitLab-driven transformation and platform adoption
- Advise customers on software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral
- Develop technical expertise through ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar solution design and evaluation roles
- Proficiency with the software development lifecycle, DevSecOps practices, and continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies
- Experience leading proofs of concept or proofs of value, tenders, audits, workshops, or value stream assessments
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to build trusted customer relationships and advocate internally
- Excellent French and English language skills
- Ideally based in the Paris region or Lille
