Responsibilities

  • Own a book of commercial customers and monitor technical health, platform adoption, usage signals, and renewal-risk indicators.
  • Provide targeted, limited-scope technical guidance for integration and solutioning questions in partnership with Customer Success Managers.
  • Direct customers to appropriate self-service resources and help improve adoption and self-sufficiency.
  • Create and maintain Drata Academy modules, technical documentation, help articles, walkthrough videos, webinars, and workshops.
  • Identify content gaps from support trends and customer feedback and prioritize scalable educational assets.
  • Stage, reproduce, and document platform behavior and customer issues for bug tickets and feature requests.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and communicate commercial-customer trends to Product Management and the broader Solutions Architect organization.
  • Escalate complex or out-of-scope issues to senior Solutions Architects with clear context and documentation.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Engineer, or equivalent B2B SaaS role.
  • Experience producing technical content such as help articles, video walkthroughs, or e-learning modules is strongly preferred.
  • Foundational experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications and machine architecture on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS.
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
  • Foundational experience with JavaScript, Python, or Bash/Shell/Unix scripting.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools or platforms and willingness to develop deeper expertise in AI-assisted compliance workflows.
  • Security or compliance industry experience, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA, is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting webinars and workshops.
  • Ability to manage a customer portfolio and multiple content workstreams in a self-directed and organized manner.
