Responsibilities

Set enterprise security strategy and build the security program from the ground up.
Own prevention, detection, and response across corporate and cloud environments, including detection logic, triage, and SIEM telemetry.
Own the endpoint security stack and technical roadmap for security tooling, including EDR, DLP, secure browser, and hardening.
Lead incident-response readiness and execution through playbooks, tabletops, and coordinated response.
Set and validate identity and access standards covering MFA, SSO, SCIM lifecycle, and least privilege, with monitoring and reporting.
Run portfolio security through onboarding baseline audits, ongoing monitoring, and SaaS risk management.
Own email security, phishing awareness, and vendor security reviews for new tools.
Automate repetitive security work and continuously improve playbooks and security systems.

Deep, hands-on security engineering experience across endpoint, detection and response, identity, cloud, SaaS, and email security.
Ability to build security tooling and automation from scratch and own a broad program end to end.
Experience with threat modeling, secure design, detection quality, and incident-response rigor.
Ability to set priorities independently across a broad security surface and fast M&A cadence.
Confidence and credibility when representing security to portfolio founders, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams.
Comfort working in greenfield environments and defining a security program rather than inheriting one.
