Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, test, and deploy robust and scalable software applications.
- Analyze requirements, create technical specifications, and develop design plans for new or enhanced systems.
- Collaborate with end users and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, unit testing, integration, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications and resolve software defects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design diagrams, feature specifications, and user manuals.
- Research and evaluate technologies and tools to improve development processes and system functionality.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior programmers as needed.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and development best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to support proper application implementation and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in software development and systems analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, such as C#, Java, Python, or .NET.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including the ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version-control systems such as Git.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, design efficient solutions, and make informed technical decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cloud development environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing or electronics industry is preferred.
