$118k - $152k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop, document, test, debug, and maintain complex software product applications and capabilities.
Build complex Java web services using Spring Boot and query platform data using SQL-based databases.
Manage source code with Git, review and approve pull requests, and maintain code quality.
Write automated tests alongside sprint work and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
Troubleshoot complex development bugs and collaborate with team members to deliver backlog commitments.
Document technical details and decisions in Confluence.
Support secure software engineering, risk management, and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field, or related qualifying experience.
At least 5 years of direct software engineering or related experience.
Required experience with the Spring/Spring Boot framework.
Recent AWS Cloud experience and experience with Python, Spark, or PySpark.
Proficiency with SQL, Git source control, Git flow branching, RESTful service design, and automated testing.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Kafka, plus familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
Preferred qualifications include Big Data platforms such as Hadoop/Hive, REST or SOAP services, XML/JSON/YAML data formats, NoSQL systems such as Redis, HBase, or Aerospike, and FinTech experience.
Excellent written and spoken communication and successful background and drug screening are required.
