$118k - $152k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop, document, test, debug, and maintain complex software product applications.
Implement complex capabilities and features for Early Warning’s core product offerings.
Build Java web services using Spring Boot.
Manage source code with Git, including reviewing and approving pull requests.
Query platform data using SQL-based databases.
Document complex technical details and decisions in Confluence.
Build automated tests integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
Troubleshoot complex software defects and support secure software engineering and data protection practices.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
At least 5 years of direct software engineering or related experience.
Proficiency with Git and the Git Flow branching model.
Required experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and automated testing.
Proficiency with SQL and RESTful service design.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Successful completion of a background and drug screen.
Preferred experience with REST or SOAP services, XML, JSON, YAML, and NoSQL databases such as Redis, HBase, or Aerospike.
FinTech experience is highly beneficial.

Temporary position with a hybrid work model in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York.
Normal office environment with primarily sedentary computer-based work.
