Responsibilities
- Build full-stack production applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Write, review, and maintain clean, testable code across multiple languages and programming paradigms.
- Develop unit, integration, and system tests and improve test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and implement scalable event-driven and microservices architectures.
- Integrate AI, ML, and LLM capabilities including agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and intelligent automation into client applications.
- Apply algorithms and data-driven approaches across application validation, transformation, and integration workflows.
- Support experimentation, monitoring, production metrics, and data pipelines for reliable application behavior.
- Mentor developers through pairing, code review, and real-time feedback.
- Communicate technical risks, blockers, and delivery changes to product leadership and architects.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional application development experience across requirements, design, coding, testing, integration, deployment, and production support.
- At least 3 years of full-stack web development experience.
- At least 3 years of modern software product development, integration, and delivery experience.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, querying, and application-layer integration; examples include PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, containerization, microservices, event-driven patterns, source control branching, and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with cloud-native platform adoption, managed container services, infrastructure as code, observability, and production operations.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Preferred advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
- Experience integrating AI, ML, or LLM capabilities, including model APIs, prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, or intelligent automation workflows, is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure delivery tooling such as AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Experience modernizing legacy or brownfield systems and familiarity with Databricks or similar unified data and AI platforms are preferred.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada, eligible to handle US export-controlled data, and able to satisfy Boeing's controlled-goods and conflict-of-interest requirements.
