Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
- Build and support Java-based middle-tier applications and web services using Spring technologies.
- Develop and manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support reliable delivery of digital solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, technology communities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement unit testing and secure coding practices to improve software reliability and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Manage risks, strengthen controls, follow applicable policies and regulations, and take responsibility for work outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design concepts, Core Java, JPA or Hibernate, Spring, unit testing, mocking frameworks, and caching concepts.
- Strong knowledge of GitLab, SonarQube, Jenkins, Java, Maven, and Nexus.
- Strong knowledge of web services including SOAP, REST, and microservices with Spring.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring-JMS, and Spring-Data.
- Knowledge of HTML, JSP, JavaScript, AngularJS, or ReactJS is valued.
- Experience with Nexus and Groovy is valued.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, resolve problems, communicate complex information, and collaborate across functions.
