Responsibilities
- Build, own, and operate web applications and cloud services as part of a self-organized engineering team.
- Develop scalable identity and access management services supporting authentication, authorization, profiles, entitlements, and third-party integrations.
- Build responsive user interfaces across web, desktop, and mobile form factors.
- Contribute to frontend, backend, DevOps, quality, monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into implementations.
- Identify improvements to system scalability, reliability, usability, security, and performance.
- Advocate for the service and help product teams integrate it.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of computer programming principles, software design patterns, architectural patterns, and cloud design paradigms.
- Expertise in one or more of Go, Java, or .NET.
- Experience building high-performance, highly available services at internet scale.
- Ability to write maintainable and reusable code.
- Commitment to software quality, security, and performance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
