Responsibilities
- Advise life sciences research institutions and mission-driven organizations throughout their Claude adoption journey, from discovery through deployment.
- Translate scientific workflows into impactful AI solutions while partnering with the life sciences segment lead and Applied AI Engineers.
- Enable organizations to become AI-native through Claude Code, Claude Science, and research and business process evolution.
- Design and lead cohort-based accelerators for multiple institutions.
- Identify deployment challenges and partner patterns to inform product, engineering, and research, including MCP servers, benchmarks, evaluations, and reusable agent skills.
- Create presentations, demos, documentation, tutorials, and sample code that scale successful approaches.
- Travel occasionally to partner sites for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship-building.
- Help shape team processes and culture as the team scales.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a technical role, ideally with customer-facing experience as a Solutions Architect, Customer Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Product Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
- Experience in life sciences, biomedical research, or scientific computing; genomics, neuroscience, or drug discovery experience is a bonus.
- Experience working in or building trust with academic research institutions, biotech, pharma, or other mission-driven scientific organizations.
- Familiarity with LLM implementation patterns, including prompt and context engineering, evaluation frameworks, agent architectures, and retrieval frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or with relevant preparation.
- Ability to teach, mentor, work across multiple functions, build from scratch, operate in ambiguity, and drive mission-focused outcomes.

- Annual salary of £165,000—£190,000 GBP.
